What was yourwelcome-to-the-big-leagues moment?
In 2004 when I got my first hit, it seemed like the game kind of stopped. Theygot the ball, and I was like, I'm really here. I've got a little baseball roomat home in Alabama, and it's on the mantel.
Your mostembarrassing moment?
My first big league camp, I was catching in an intrasquad game. I go to throwthe ball to second before the first inning, I step on the strap on my shinguard and fall on my face. I didn't live that down for a while. They wouldreenact what happened and laugh.
Favorite off-dayactivity?
Getting a good bite to eat with my wife, Ginger. We like steak, the filet.
If I weren'tplaying baseball, I'd be ...
working with animals. I was a biology major at North Alabama. I'd probably domarine biology.
