Danielle, a seniorrighthander at Seymour High, pitched a perfect game to give the undefeatedWildcats the Class M championship, their third straight state softball title.She was 26-0 this season and 50-0 for her high school career. This year shethrew 24 shutouts, including six perfect games, and had an 0.17 ERA.

Roger Bothe

CHESTER, VA. >Soccer

Roger, a seniordefender at Thomas Dale High, led the Knights to two consecutive 24-0 seasonsand back-to-back Virginia Group AAA championships. He had 33 career goals,including 12 game-winning shots, and was named Central District and CentralRegion player of the year.

Shea'naGrigsby

MINNEAPOLIS >Track and Field

Grigsby, a seniorat Carthage College, won the 100-meter high hurdles and the 400-meterintermediate hurdles at the NCAA Division III championships. She ended hercollege career with eight national titles-the two above, two more for 100-meterhigh hurdles, three for indoor 55-meter high hurdles and one as a member of a400-meter relay team.

JESSUP, MD. >Lacrosse

Chris, a seniorattackman at Boys' Latin School, led the Lakers to a 21-0 season and theMaryland Independent Athletic Association A Conference championship. He had 36goals and 108 points this season and tops the school's alltime scoring listwith career totals of 130 goals and 170 assists.

CHARLESTON, S.C.> Tennis

Applegate, ajunior at Washington and Lee University, became the second straight General towin the NCAA Division III singles championship. She was named the Old DominionAthletic Conference player of the year and finished the season with 33victories, the second-most singles wins in school history.

Mike Eisenberg

CORAL GABLES, FLA.> Baseball

Eisenberg, ajunior righthander at Marietta College, was named the NCAA Division III pitcherof the year after ending the season with a 13-2 record and leading the Pioneersto the national title. He signed with Cleveland after being selected by theIndians in the eighth round of the baseball draft.
