ST. JOSEPH, MO. > Figure Skating

Bradley, a sophomore at Colorado, won his second consecutive men's singles title at the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships. He finished in the top 10 in all six of his U.S. figure skating championships appearances. His collegiate win qualifies him for the 2007 World University Games in Turin.

Destinee Hooker

SAN ANTONIO > Volleyball

Hooker, the NCAA outdoor high jump champion and a sophomore outside hitter at Texas, landed a match-leading 22 kills, including the final four points, to help the Lady Longhorns overcome a 13--11 deficit and defeat the defending NCAA champion, Washington, in the finals of the AVCA Volleyball Showcase.

Chris Carter

ROY, UTAH > TRACK AND FIELD

Carter, a sophomore at BYU who anchored the Cougars' 4√ó400-meter team to the outdoor Mountain West Conference title, won the 400-meter hurdles at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Beijing and anchored the winning 4√ó400-meter relay team. Those were the only two gold medals for the U.S. men's team at the championships.

Shannon O'Keefe

ROCHESTER, N.Y. > Bowling

O'Keefe, 27, led the United States Bowling Congress's Team USA to the adult-division team and national all-events titles at the Lee Evans Tournament of the Americas in Tamarac, Fla. She also won the singles, doubles and individual all-events for a total of five gold medals and got a silver medal in mixed doubles.

Sami Houseal

MOUNT JOY, PA. > Softball

Sami, a senior righthander at Donegal High, pitched a one-hitter to lead the Indians to a 3--0 victory over Punxsutawney to make Donegal the Pennsylvania Triple A softball champion, its first state title in the school's 52-year athletic history. Sami had 187 strikeouts and an 0.19 ERA for the season.

Kient Martin

FRANKLIN, LA. > Boxing

Kient, a sophomore at Franklin Senior High and a member of the Ragin' Cajun Amateur Boxing Club, defeated Rockne Harris of Dallas by unanimous decision to win the 125-pound title in the senior division (15- and 16-year-olds) at the National Junior Golden Gloves tournament in Chattanooga.
