He helpedthe Orediggers finish first in a field of 27 teams and was named Rocky MountainAthletic Conference/Boulder Running Company runner of the week.

Kerns, a seniormiddle blocker at Wingate, was named South Atlantic Conference volleyballplayer of the week after leading the Bulldogs to four consecutive wins, whichput the team in first place in the league standings. She hit .536 with 3.27kills and 0.64 blocks per game over the four games.
