Arcidiacono, a senior running back at Union College, rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns in a 28--27 win over Worcester Polytechnic Institute. It was his seventh career 200-yard game, and he was named Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Northwest offensive, and Liberty League, player of the week.
Amber Thomas
EPHRATA, PA. > Volleyball
Thomas, a sophomore outside hitter at Juniata College, was Commonwealth Conference women's volleyball player of the week for the second time, after helping the Eagles defeat Widener, Albright and Eastern. She had 38 kills, 23 digs and four serving aces. (Editor's Note: Her photo ran last week with the wrong information.)

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD. > Boxing
Russell, 18, defeated Roberto Marroquin 16--7 to win the gold medal in the 119-pound division at the 2006 National Police Athletic League Championships in Oxnard, Calif. The victory was his fourth national championship in the past two years, and he is ranked No. 1 in the bantamweight division by USA Boxing.

SEATTLE > Soccer
Sara, a freshman forward at Ballard High, helped the Beavers to two KingCo 4A Conference victories by scoring four goals in a shutout of Bothell and a hat trick in a 9--0 win over Franklin. She was named Star of the Week by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and The Seattle Times.
Vianney Campos
GUADALAJARA, MEXICO > Field Hockey
Campos, a senior forward at the University of the Pacific, scored all of her team's goals in a 5--1 win over Davidson to give the 10--6 Tigers their third consecutive NorPac Conference victory. She leads her team in goals (29) and points (65) for the season; both totals are school records. (Editor's Note: Her item ran last week with the wrong photo.)

TUSTIN, CALIF.; NAPLES, FLA. > Golf
Fortner (left) and Santos-Ocampo, both at Notre Dame, are believed to be the first two freshmen to shoot holes in one in the same season. Each got his ace at his first college tournament.
