Caroline, an eighth-grader at Brea Junior High, executed six triple jumps to win the gold medal in the ladies' individual event at the Junior Grand Prix Final in Sofia, Bulgaria. She had previously taken first place in Junior Grand Prix events in Mexico City and Taipei, winning by 54 and 36 points, respectively.
Chris Sharpe
DERRY, N.H. > Football
Sharpe, a junior quarterback at Springfield College, won the Melberger Award, given to the NCAA Division III's top football player. He led the Pride in all major offensive categories, broke six Division III records and topped the division in average yards rushing per game, average points and touchdowns.
Mandy Morales
BILLINGS, MONT. > Basketball
Morales, a sophomore guard at Montana, was Big Sky Conference player of the week for a record fifth straight time after leading the Lady Griz to a nine-game win streak while averaging 27.8 points, 6.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds. She scored 20 points in a win over Montana State that extended the streak to 12 and gave the team a 15--1 record.
Aulton Kohn
BEAUFORT, S.C. > Track and Field
Kohn, a senior at Syracuse, opened the indoor season for the Orange by running a career-best time of 6.70 to win the 60-meter dash at the Cornell Relays. The two-time defending Big East 60-meter-dash champion was named Eastern College Athletic Conference track athlete of the week.
Steven Segerlin
WEBSTER, N.Y. > Diving
Segerlin, a senior at Auburn, was named Southeastern Conference male diver of the week after winning all three events (one- and three-meters and platform) at the Georgia Diving Invitational. The defending NCAA platform champ finished first in four of five three-meter events and has not lost a one-meter or platform competition this season.

RIVER ROUGE, MICH. > Ice Hockey
Price, a senior forward at Utica, scored four goals, tying her career-best total, in the Pioneers' 6--2 win over New England College. She leads the team with 14 goals and ranks second in NCAA Division III with 1.27 goals per game and six power play goals for the season. She has 112 points in 81 career games.
