Leach, a sophomore center at Transylvania, leads the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with an average of 18.3 points and 11.4 rebounds. She has scored and rebounded in double figures in 16 games this season and has been the HCAC women's basketball player of the week four times.
MADISON, WIS. > Track and Field
Omole, a senior at Wisconsin, won the 60-meter dash at the Meyo Invitational on Feb. 3. His time of 6.55 seconds broke his Big Ten conference record, was the fastest collegiate time in the nation and tied for the sixth-fastest time in the world this indoor season.

Darquavis, a senior guard at Saginaw Arthur High, scored 34 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the defending Michigan Class A state champion Lumberjacks beat Libbey 81--60 in the final of the Martin Luther King Classic in Toledo.

KNOXVILLE, TENN. > Track and Field
Jacquelyn, a junior at Knoxville West High, won the women's 55-meter hurdles and was runner-up in the 400 meters at the Ed Temple Classic in Nashville. Her time of 7.67 seconds in the hurdles was the fastest by a high school student since 1993. She was named USA Track & Field's athlete of the week.
WINSLOW, ARIZ. > Wrestling
Enrique, a senior at Winslow High, finished the season undefeated, with 46 wins and the 103-pound title at the Arizona State 3A Conference Championship Tournament. In his four years at Winslow, he won 12 individual high school tournament titles and set a state career record for pins with 149.
COLUMBUS, OHIO > Tennis
Flower, a freshman at Georgia Tech, won the singles final and helped her sixth-ranked team beat four ranked opponents, including No. 1 Stanford, as the Yellow Jackets took the Intercollegiate National Team Indoor title. She was named Atlantic Coast Conference women's tennis player of the week.
