Corey, a senior righthanded pitcher at Hatboro-Horsham, pitched a complete-game, nine-inning shutout against William Tennent, striking out 22 batters and allowing three hits. In the bottom of the ninth Corey, a University of Delaware recruit, hit a walk-off grand slam for the 4--0 victory.

Brianna Gillin
CINNAMINSON, N.J. > Lacrosse
Gillin, a senior attacker for Montclair State, scored six goals and had eight assists in a 15--12 victory over Rowan, the Red Hawks' first defeat of the Profs since 1980. She was named the Skyline Conference player of the week for the third consecutive week and leads the league with 59 points in nine games.

RALEIGH > Wrestling
Jon, a junior at Cardinal Gibbons High, went undefeated in six matches to win the National High School Coaches Association's junior national wrestling championship in the 140-pound class. He also won North Carolina's Class 1A/2A title at that weight.

Elek, a freshman goaltender at Amherst, made a tournament-record 65 saves in a 2--1 triple-overtime victory as the Cardinals won their first New England Small College Athletic Conference championship. She was the NESCAC rookie of the year and was the only freshman named a second-team All-America.

Dynasty McGee
FLINT, MICH. > Track and Field
Dynasty, an eighth-grader at Grand Blanc West Middle School, set a Michigan indoor track record in the 400 meters, running a time of 56.02 seconds in a meet against high school athletes. She also established two AAU youth national records in the 200 (26.38 seconds) and the 400 (57.48).

EDINBORO, PA. > Basketball, Football
Drew helped General McLane become the first high school in Pennsylvania to win state titles in both sports in one year. The senior ran for a fourth-quarter TD in a 28--23 win over Pottsville; his jumper with two seconds left beat Greencastle-Antrim 57--55.
