Last week Dungy's memoir, Quiet Strength, becamethe first football book to top the bestseller list. Back from his publicitytour, Dungy (above) will lead the Super Bowl champs in their first preseasongame, against Dallas, whose new coach, Wade Phillips, is already feeling heat.Says Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, "I think we have every right to think wewill be better than we were last year."

Earlier this summer, before the U.S. Open, Rory Sabbatini declared that TigerWoods was "as beatable as ever." He was right: Woods failed to win theU.S. or the British Open. But the South African wasn't the one doing thebeating; Sabbatini finished 51st at the U.S. Open and missed the cut atCarnoustie. And last weekend Sabbatini blew a one-shot 54-hole lead as Woodswon the Bridgestone Invitational. Sabbatini, who is up to sixth in the FedExCup standings, will get his next shot at Woods in the season's final major, atSouthern Hills in Tulsa.
