Leading Off

Titaned Up

Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones got his fingertips on this second-quarter pass, but Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan prevented the catch in Tennessee's 13-10 victory on Sunday in Jacksonville. Quarterback Vince Young (inset) directed Tennessee to the win, contributing 22 rushing yards to the team's total of 282.

Short Flight

Patriots fullback Heath Evans found enough airspace to score a one-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown against the Jets on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. (page 40). New England won 38-14 behind Tom Brady (inset), who completed 22 of 28 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns (LIFE OF REILLY, page 98).

Honey, I'm Holmes

Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes knelt in the Borwns' end zone and basked in the silence in Cleveland after catching a 40-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger (inset) during the first quarter on Sunday. Pittsburgh did most of its damage on the ground in a 34-7 win.
