WE LIKE THE MATCHUP

QUARTERBACK

JON KITNA

Lions VS. Giants

Kitna has been careful with the ball at home this year, throwing five touchdowns and only one interception, compared with seven TDs and seven interceptions on the road. Lately he has also benefited from the balance provided by running back Kevin Jones.

KURT WARNER

Cardinals AT Bengals

When he's under pressure, Warner might as well just hand the ball to the defense. But when he's protected, he picks coverages apart. The Bengals, with only 14 sacks this season, will allow Warner plenty of time.

RUNNING BACK

EARNEST GRAHAM

Buccaneers AT Falcons

He ran for 124 yards on 34 carries against Arizona before the bye week. Expect more of the same from the ball-control Bucs.

RYAN GRANT

Packers VS. Panthers

With 278 yards in the last three games, this free-agent rookie from Notre Dame has emerged to give Green Bay a multifaceted offense.

WILLIE PARKER

Steelers AT Jets

He has only two TDs this year, but New York's defense ranks in the bottom five in every rushing category.

TIGHT END

L.J. SMITH

Eagles VS. Dolphins

The Eagles are 20--9 when Smith catches at least three balls, as he did in Sunday's win in Washington (four for 49 yards, one TD). Get him back in your lineup against winless Miami—assuming you were patient enough to hold on to Smith during the rehab of his injured groin.

WIDE RECEIVER

RONALD CURRY

Raiders AT Vikings

Oakland will let it fly against a D that ranks second against the run and second to last against the pass. Plus, CB Antoine Winfield is nursing a strained hamstring.

MARQUES COLSTON

Saints AT Texans

His shaky start this season made last year look like a fluke. But Colston—if not his team—is back in form with 373 yards and three TDs in his last three games.

DERRICK MASON

Ravens VS. Browns

Though unspectacular, Mason has been one of the NFL's most consistent receivers. His totals will continue to tick upward against the league's worst D.

KICKER

MATT BRYANT

Buccaneers AT Falcons

These punchless teams have combined to score 40 points in their last two meetings; expect this game to be more about field goals than touchdowns.

DEFENSE / SPECIAL TEAMS

Vikings VS. Raiders

It's been a month since turnover-prone Oakland has scored more than 17 points in a game; Minnesota has 18 takeaways and four returns for touchdowns this year.
