Week Ahead
THURSDAY 2/7
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
He didn't make the Pro Bowl, but Saints QB Drew Brees will still have some fun in the sun this week. He, along with luminaries like Emmitt Smith and Tin Cup star Kevin Costner (right), will hit the links in this 67th annual charity tournament. (Sorry, Caddyshack fans: A scheduling conflict will keep Bill Murray from participating this year.) Defending champ Phil Mickelson, a three-time Pro-Am winner, returns, a year after he tied the 72-hole scoring record.

Ducks at Red Wings
Those Stanley Cup hangovers are finally wearing off. In December, Scott Niedermayer, who retired last year after helping Anaheim win the Cup, returned to the Ducks' blue line. Now winger Teemu Selanne is coming back after sitting out the first four months of the season as a semiretiree. "I feel the passion again to play hockey," said Selanne. The Ducks could use the help: They're in third place in the Pacific Division.
NBC 3:30 p.m.
MONDAY 2/11
No. 4 Kansas at No. 12 Texas
With guards D.J. Augustin (left) and A.J. Abrams averaging 19.9 and 17.3 points, respectively, the Longhorns have two of the Big 12's top scorers. They will need each to be at the top of his game to upset the Jayhawks, who have allowed 62 points per game in Big 12 contests, the lowest average in the conference.

SI PICK OF THE WEEK
SUNDAY 2/10
AFC-NFC Pro Bowl
Only four QBs have made it back to the Pro Bowl after a five-year absence: Phil Simms and Randall Cunningham, who went eight years each between appearances; Ken O'Brien, who went six; and the Buccaneers' Jeff Garcia (above), who last week was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time since 2003. Garcia got his shot when NFC starter Brett Favre pulled out. He'll have two daunting tasks in Honolulu—making nice with old friend and NFC teammate Terrell Owens, and helping his conference win just its third Pro Bowl in eight years.
