DOWNPLAY
A floored Kyle Taber awaits the dunk of Michigan State's Drew Naymick in last Saturday's game between ranked Big Ten teams in Bloomington, Ind. Taber and the rest of the Indiana players got off the deck and erased an early 11-point deficit en route to an 80--61 victory. The atmosphere at Assembly Hall was especially charged after word came three days earlier that Hoosiers coach Kelvin Sampson had been accused by the NCAA of committing major recruiting violations. (Sampson said he did not knowingly do so.) Sampson faced possible disciplinary action by Indiana pending the results of a university investigation to be completed by this Friday.
