No one is better at staying focused on the shot at hand than Tiger, but coming off a birdie at the 8th hole, Woods was four shots behind the leader and eventual winner, Geoff Ogilvy, and looking to build some momentum for a charge toward his sixth straight PGA Tour win when he was distracted midswing by a clicking camera. Woods pulled the shot, which narrowly missed going into the water, and made a rally-killing bogey.

Get in the Bubble to Stay Focused

In the Golf Psych system, we teach players to block distractions by imagining themselves inside a bubble that no external force can penetrate. Hone this ability at work or home when you're in a situation with a lot of external stimuli by closing your eyes and picturing yourself in a quiet bubble. Practicing away from the course will improve your ability to ignore disturbances.
