BRETT FAVRE is now an A-lister in New York (page 76), but a party in L.A. last Thursday to celebrate the release of EA Sports's Madden NFL 09—with Favre on the cover—drew a decidedly B-list crowd. Tom Arnold, Verne (Mini Me) Troyer, Britney-ex Kevin Federline and The Hills star Jason Wahler were among those at Hollywood club Coco De Ville to try out the '09 version. The bash even drew nongamers: "I didn't even know there was a party going on," said MTV host Tila Tequila (left). "I was just eating dinner and saw a red carpet and came over." EA Sports had good news for serious fans of the game, which was released on Tuesday. Favre is wearing a Packers jersey on the cover, but EA's website will offer a downloadable cover of the QB in a Jets uniform as well as a roster software update.
