Two Thirds of a Team

The PGA marked the end of qualifying for the U.S. Ryder Cup team. (European qualifying ends on Aug. 31.) The top eight on the points list are automatically in, but because Tiger Woods is injured and will not play in the Sept. 19--21 matches at Louisville's Valhalla Golf Club, Nos. 2 through 9 make the squad. Captain Paul Azinger will reveal his four wild-card picks on Sept. 2. Here are those who are in and the wild-card front-runners, along with their Presidents and Ryder Cup records and a scouting report.
