Seth Davis's Three-Pointer

1 Maryland is back in the NCAA tournament picture. In the two weeks since AD Debbie Yow had to squelch rumors about coach Gary Williams's job security, the 17--9 Terps (6--6 in the ACC) have won three of four, including last Saturday's 88--85 OT upset of then No. 3 North Carolina.

2 Utah State and Davidson will have a hard time getting at-large bids. After losing last weekend to Saint Mary's and Butler, respectively, the Aggies and the Wildcats will likely have to win their conference tournaments to make the Big Dance.

3 Oklahoma's Willie Warren (above) is the national freshman of the year. With teammate Blake Griffin on the bench with an apparent concussion, the 6'4" guard scored 27 points in last Saturday's loss at Texas, and he is averaging 15.4 points (on 38.2% three-point shooting) this season.
