Caroline, a sophomore at Smoky Hill High School, broke the state record in the 200-yard individual medley and defended her 2008 title in the event at the 5A Colorado high school state swimming and diving championship. She clocked 2:02.96, improving on her 2008 winning time by four seconds.

Garrett Billings
LANGLEY, B.C. > Lacrosse
Billings, a senior at Virginia, tied a 51-year-old school record with eight goals in a 20--10 win over Stony Brook. With 28 points in six games—including a hat trick to help knock off then top-ranked Syracuse—the preseason All-America attackman leads the No. 1 Cavaliers in scoring and is second in Division I.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD. > Basketball
Andrea, a junior guard at Grace Brethren in Clinton, Md., is the Eagles' alltime leading scorer with 2,425 points. Her 20.6 average helped the team to a 28--2 record and second place at the National Christian School Athletic Association Division II tournament.

MAYVILLE, WISC. > Wheelchair Basketball
Okon, a sophomore at Wisconsin-Whitewater, shot 13 of 21 from behind the arc to lead all scorers with 41 points during a 91--73 victory over the eight-time NWBA national champion Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks. Okon and the Warhawks finished the season with a division-best 20--1 record.

HERMOSA BEACH, CALIF. > Golf
Andrea, a fifth-grader at Hermosa Valley School, qualified for the 2009 Callaway Junior World Championships with a win at the San Diego Junior Amateur. She shot a hole in one on the 17th and went 59--60 over the two-day event, earning the first of her four victories in five starts this year.

Ron Bradley
CONYERS, GA. > Basketball
Bradley, the 74-year-old coach of Heritage High, completed his 48th season on the varsity bench with an 18--10 record, achieving his 1,011th career victory and becoming the nation's winningest active scholastic boys' basketball coach. Bradley is 322 wins short of the alltime record of 1,333.
