Carlos, a freshman at Moreau Catholic High, became the youngest winner, at 14, of the San Francisco City Golf Championship, the nation's oldest continuous amateur tournament (92 years). Down by two strokes with three holes left in the semifinals, he rallied to win, 1 up; the next day he took the title 3 and 2.
Danielle Zymkowitz
WEST HILLS, CALIF. > Softball
Zymkowitz, a sophomore second baseman at Illinois, batted .900 over a three-game stretch, including 8 for 8 in a pair of Big Ten wins over Penn State. She had a total of seven runs, five RBIs and a slugging percentage of 1.500 for the three games, and was named the USA Softball player of the week.

Raymond, a 6'10" senior center at New Boston Huron High, led the Chiefs (22--2) to their first Huron League title in 32 years with school season records in blocks (127), rebounds (180), field goal percentage (.720) and free throw percentage (.770).

Liz Horvat
BETTENDORF, IOWA > Swimming
Horvat, a sophomore at Emory, was named the NCAA Division III women's swimmer of the year after winning four national championship races—500-yard free, 1,650 free, 800 free relay and 400 individual medley—in D-III record times at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
David Osei
ABINGTON, PA. > Wrestling and Football David, a senior at Abington High competing at 285 pounds, had a 44--1 record (25 pins) this season and was the runner-up at the PIAA state 3A championships. He also earned all--Southeastern Pennsylvania football honors at tackle. David will attend Rutgers in the fall.
Robby Andrews
MANALAPAN, N.J. > Track and Field
Robby, a senior at Manalapan High, set a U.S. high school record in the indoor 800 meters with a time of 1:49.21 at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships. He beat the old mark by 1.34 seconds. In February, Robby broke the American high school record for the 1,000 meters, clocking a 2:22.28.
