These recruits honored their early commitments: Alex Oriakhi (below), a 6'8" center out of Tilton (N.H.) High, verbally committed to UConn in August 2006. With Hasheem Thabeet and Jeff Adrien turning pro, coach Jim Calhoun's next glass-cleaner should make his presence felt immediately.... Wally Judge, a forward from Arlington (Fla.) Country Day, committed to Kansas State in October '07. An artistic dunker with a strong face-up game, he'll follow Michael Beasley's path from the DC Assault AAU program to Manhattan.... John Henson of Tampa's Sickles High committed to North Carolina in January '08. One talent evaluator says the 6'10", 200-pound forward is "a milkshake away from being a lottery pick."
