Irina Falconi
JUPITER, FLA. > Tennis
Falconi, a sophomore at Georgia Tech, won two USTA Pro Circuit singles titles in two weeks—the Norman Wilkerson Tennis Experience and the Heartland Clinic USTA Women's Classic; she also teamed with Ashley Weinhold to take the doubles title at the Heartland Clinic event. In the spring Falconi earned NCAA All-America honors in singles.
Garth Collings
MATLOCK, MANITOBA > Golf
Collings, 51, won his third Manitoba Amateur Championship, by one stroke, shooting a four-over-par 290, and is believed to be the oldest winner of the tournament. He had previously won the event in 1987 and '94. The 2003 Canadian Mid-Amateur Champion, Collings was inducted into the Manitoba Golf Hall of Fame last year.

Kendall Baisden
FRANKLIN, MICH. > Track and Field
Kendall, a freshman at Detroit Country Day, won the youth division 400 meters at the AAU Junior Olympics (53.05), breaking the national record for 14-year-olds. She also won the youth 100 and 200 races at the USA Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the USA Track & Field National Junior Olympics.

Jeremy Johnson
BRECKSVILLE, OHIO > Wrestling
Johnson, a freshman at Ohio University, won the 285-pound class at the ASICS/Vaughan Junior National Championships. In June he helped Team Ohio win the Junior Freestyle National Duals, going 10--0 and making the all-tournament team. While a senior at Brecksville-Broadview Heights, he won the state Division I 285-pound title.
Stephanie Rose
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. > Soccer
Rose, a freshman at UNC-Wilmington, earned MVP honors in the Clash of the Carolinas all-star game, scoring both goals in North Carolina's 2--0 victory over South Carolina. The N.C. Soccer Coaches Association player of the year, she scored 50 goals and had 21 assists in helping White Oak High to a fourth straight state 3-A title.
Hayden Baillio
WHITESBORO, TEXAS > Track and Field
Baillio, a freshman at Texas, won the discus (185'1") and shot put (75'4¾") at the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation state games, heaving the shot farther than any other high school athlete in 2009. At Whitesboro High this spring, he won the state Class 3A discus and shot put, breaking a 31-year-old state meet record in the shot.
