Titanic Task

Tennessee (0--4) is desperate and has one last shot to revive its feeble playoff prospects. At home against Indianapolis (4--0) this Sunday, coach Jeff Fisher is sticking with the immobile Kerry Collins at quarterback instead of rolling the dice with the more athletic Vince Young. Colts defensive ends Dwight Freeney (with 36) and Robert Mathis (31) have forced the most fumbles in the NFL since 2002, many of them by coming around the corner and stripping the QB of the ball. Mathis (below) had three sacks against Seattle on Sunday. The Titans' only hope is to protect Collins with tackles Michael Roos and David Stewart—and pound their running backs (Chris Johnson and LenDale White) at Indy the way Miami did two weeks ago.
