Pitt Stop
No one ever said that Minnesota had to go 16--0 to make the Brett Favre experiment a success. The Vikings (6--0) take on their toughest opponent of the season in hostile Pittsburgh, where they'll face All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu (below) and the Steelers (4--2). The Minnesota secondary is still stinging from a fourth-quarter meltdown against the Ravens on Sunday, and ace cornerback Antoine Winfield is iffy with a sprained right foot. If Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger—who has connected on 72.5% of his passes this year after completing 59.9% last season—can steer clear of end Jared Allen and tackle Kevin Williams, the home team should win a shootout. Steelers 27, Vikings 23.
