IHBA driver Quinten Kight crashed his pro eliminator class boat last Friday during qualifying for the NAPA Auto Parts world finals at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Ariz. Kight suffered broken ribs.

Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas (96) and end Ty Warren (94) took the Jets' ground game into their own hands on Sunday in Foxborough, stopping rookie Shonn Greene after a two-yard gain. Greene had three carries for minus-one yard in New York's 31--14 defeat.

Raptors guard Jarrett Jack outhustled Heat forward Michael Beasley for a loose ball in the first half of their game last Friday in Toronto. Jack had 17 points off the bench in a 120--113 victory over Miami.
Sugar Rush
Arkansas center Michael Washington (00) battled Terrence Jennings (23, left) and Reginald Delk of Louisville for the ball during the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase—which had at least one prominent sponsor—in St. Louis on Nov. 17. Delk scored 20 points to lead the 20th-ranked Cardinals to a 96--66 win.
