Ben, a senior at St. Michael High, won the 112-pound championship at the state Division II meet for the second consecutive year, helping the Warriors win their first state team title. He set the Louisiana high school record for career pins (147) and is second alltime in victories (193). Ben, who was the 103-pound champion in 2008, finished this season 61--1.

Victoria Tanco

BUENOS AIRES > Golf

Victoria, a 16-year-old attending the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, shot a final-round 66 to win the Annika Invitational by three strokes over Laetitia Beck of Israel. Victoria's 54-hole total was 211, five under par. The American Junior Golf Association's female player of the year in 2008 and '09, she was back at No. 1 in the AJGA girls' rankings last week.

Corey Hawkins

GOODYEAR, ARIZ. > Basketball

Corey, a senior guard at Estrella Foothills High, broke the state career scoring record during a 41-point performance in a 113--51 regional championship win over Sedona Red Rock. Corey then ran his total to 3,156 points while leading the Wolves to their third straight state Class 3A title. He has signed with Arizona State.

Morgan Pace

LAUREL, MISS. > Soccer

Morgan, a senior at Northeast Jones High, led the Lady Tigers to their first state Class 4A championship, scoring five goals in four postseason games, including both goals in a 2--0 first-round win over Poplarville and one in the 2--1 title-game victory over Pontotoc. In her fifth year as a starter Morgan led the team with 39 goals and 14 assists.

Elisha Justice

PIKEVILLE, KY. > Basketball

Elisha, a senior guard at Shelby Valley High, set the state record for career steals while making seven in a 78--31 win over East Ridge; through Sunday his total was 521. He also holds school records for career points (1,940) and assists (602). The Wildcats won their second straight state small-school title, with Elisha repeating as the tournament's MVP.

Christie Savard

BERWYN, PA. > Swimming

Savard, a junior at Susquehanna, broke three Landmark Conference individual records—in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.32), 200 individual medley (2:10.22) and 400 IM (4:34.03)—and swam on four record-setting relay teams, helping the Crusaders finish second in the league championship meet. She was named Landmark swimmer of the year.
