Albert Fullwood

BETHANY, LA. > Track and Field

Fullwood, a senior at Louisiana Tech, won the 200- (21.25) and 400-meter races (48.04) and anchored the winning 4 √ó 400 relay team at the Western Athletic Conference indoor championships. He was the WAC's track performer of the year for the indoor season; Fullwood won the same award for the 2009 outdoor season, when he also was the 200 and 400 champion.

Tara Chapmon

VIRGINIA BEACH > Swimming

Chapmon, a senior at the U.S. Naval Academy, won the 200- (1:46.17), 500- (4:43.44) and 1,650-yard (16:25.55) freestyle events at the Patriot League championship meet for the third year in a row, earning swimmer of the year honors for the third consecutive time and helping Navy to the team title. She also helped the Midshipmen win four relay events.

Garrett Kitchens

SOUTHSIDE, ALA. > Wrestling

Garrett, a senior at Southside High, won the 152-pound division at the state Class 5A championship meet to help the Panthers to their first state title since 1989. Over the last two seasons combined he had a 118--0 record. As a sophomore Garrett won the 145-pound class, and as a junior he was the 160-pound champion.

Lisa Koll

FORT DODGE, IOWA > Track and Field

Koll, a senior at Iowa State, won the 3,000- (8:56.09) and 5,000-meter races (15:41.57) at the Big 12 indoor championships, setting meet records in both. A three-time All-America in cross-country and a three-time outdoor conference champion in the 10,000 meters, Koll earned Big 12 outdoor track performer of the year honors in 2009.

Matt White

PERRYSBURG, OHIO > Hockey

Matt, a senior forward at Perrysburg High, had a goal and an assist in a 5--1 win over Whitmer to break the state record for points in a season. In leading the Yellow Jackets to the Northwest Hockey Conference White Division title, he finished the year with 135 points, including a single-season-record 78 goals. Matt was all-conference and the division player of the year.

Nicki Ross and Corey DeLaney

CHATHAM, N.J. > Platform Tennis

Nicki (far left), a junior at Chatham High, and Corey, a sophomore at Pingry, won the girls' 18-and-under championship at the APTA junior nationals, 7--5, 4--6, 7--5; it was their second straight title in that division and fourth overall. The two 16-year-olds had won the 14- and 12-and-under divisions.
