PETER KING'S Things I Think I Think
1 I think LB Scott Fujita(below) did not want to leave New Orleans, but when the Browns gave him $8 million guaranteed over three years ($14 million total), Fujita just had to say yes. He wouldn't have gotten half that with the Saints. Now he'll be a great role model for a young defense and work alongside looming star linebacker D'Qwell Jackson for a year or two.
2 I think I admire the Panthers for firing Jake Delhomme. He was so bad in the last year plus one game that it just had to be done. Yet the quarterback's such a leader and class act that it had to be torture for coach John Fox and G.M. Marty Hurney to let him go.
3 I think TE Greg Olsen is right in thinking that he won't be a featured player in the Chicago offense this season. I also understand his being upset that Mike Martz is now running the show. Still, the Bears would be foolish to deal Olsen for anything less than a pick in the second round. Besides, you never know how long Martz will last.
