STEWART MANDEL'S Two-Point Stance

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor (below) gave Ohio State fans a scare when he recently revealed that the doctor who performed surgery to repair a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in February found "a lot of things wrong," including a damaged medial collateral ligament. However, Pryor participated in team conditioning drills near full speed last week, and should be ready for the start of spring practice on April 1.... The skepticism surrounding Tim Tebow's transition to the NFL may cause future dual-threat athletes to think twice about playing quarterback. LSU's Russell Shepard, a former five-star prospect, switched from quarterback to receiver this spring in part to enhance his pro prospects.
