Montagnino, a senior outfielder at Louisiana College, batted .556 with two home runs, 13 RBIs and eight runs scored in six wins over four days for the No. 1 Lady Wildcats. She matched the school single-season record for home runs (nine), tying her for third in NCAA Division III, and was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association hitter of the week.

Cody Zeller
WASHINGTON, IND. > Basketball
Cody, a junior forward at Washington High, tied an Indiana Class 3A record for most rebounds in a state championship game (26) and scored a team-high 20 points to lead the Hatchets to the title with a 65--62 overtime win over Gary Wallace. Cody averaged a team-best 20.5 points and 11.4 rebounds this season and was named to the Indiana Junior All-Stars team.

Jackson Posey
SUMRALL, MISS. > Baseball
Jackson, a senior pitcher and infielder at Sumrall High, is 7--0 with 52 strikeouts and a 1.34 ERA in 31.1 innings. He also is batting .538 with 36 RBIs, 11 doubles and 23 runs scored for the Bobcats, the two-time defending Class 3A state champs. As of Sunday, Sumrall was 22--0, with a state-record 64-game winning streak.

Emmanuelle Blais
LASALLE, QUE. > Hockey
Blais, a senior forward at Minnesota-Duluth, was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Division I Frozen Four. She had two goals and an assist in a 3--2 semifinal win over Minnesota and scored the Bulldogs' first goal in a 3--2 triple-overtime championship-game win against Cornell. Blais led Division I with 32 goals this season.
Curtis Mitchell
DAYTONA BEACH > Track and Field
Mitchell, a junior at Texas A&M, ran the second leg of the winning 4√ó400 meter relay (3:01.55) and the anchor leg of the winning 4√ó200-relay (1:20.61), which set a meet record at the Texas Relays. The NCAA Division I 200-meter indoor champion, Mitchell won the event six consecutive times and had two 200-meter victories outdoors.
Brandy Noel
SEVERN, MD. > Lacrosse
Noel, a senior midfielder at Hood College, broke the school record for career goals (96) with five in a 16--14 come-from-behind win over Shepherd on April 1. The week before, in a 16--11 loss to Shenandoah, she broke the Hood record for career scoring (108 points). Through the weekend, Noel had extended her point total to 118 and her goal total to 100.
