Marco Gonzales
FORT COLLINS, COLO. > Baseball
Marco, a senior utility player and pitcher at Rocky Mountain High, struck out 11 and hit a three-run home run to help the Lobos to a 9--4 win over Ralston Valley and their fourth-straight state Class 5A title. The winning pitcher in all four championship games, Marco was 11--0 this season and was named Colorado's Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year.
Kelly Curran
BLOOMINGTON, ILL. > Track and Field
Kelly, a senior at Central Catholic High, prevailed in the 800 (2:12.29), 1,600 (5:09.75) and 3,200 meters (11:12.03) at the state Class 1A championship meet to help the Saints to a second-place finish. The 1A cross-country champion in 2008 and '09, she was also a starting guard on the basketball team that won the 2A title last fall. Kelly will run for Notre Dame.

Vladimir Morozov
TORRANCE, CALIF. > Swimming
Vladimir, a senior at Torrance High, set a national high school record in the 50-yard freestyle (19.43) while leading off for the second-place 200-yard free relay team at the CIF Southern Section Division III meet. The next week at the section masters meet he set a national record in the 100 free (42.87) and won the 100 backstroke and butterfly.

Alison Swain
WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. > Tennis
Swain, in her third year as coach at Williams, led the Ephs to their third straight Division III title, a 5--0 victory over Emory. A 2001 graduate of Williams, she was co-captain of the '01 national championship team, making her one of only two women in D-III tennis history to win titles as a player and a coach. During her three-year tenure the Ephs are 65--8.

Justin Hunter
VIRGINIA BEACH > Track and Field
Justin, a senior at Ocean Lakes High, won the long jump with the nation's top mark this year (25'8¾") as well as the high jump (7'0") and the triple jump (50'8¼") at the Group AAA championship meet, leading the Dolphins to their first state title in any sport. Justin was also an all-state wide receiver and played in this year's Under Armour All-America game.
Megan Langenfeld
BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. > Softball
Langenfeld, a senior first baseman and pitcher at UCLA, hit her third and fourth home runs of the Division I College World Series to lead the Bruins to a 15--9 win over Arizona and the national championship. The tournament's Most Outstanding Player, Langenfeld was 14--1 on the mound this season and led the team in home runs (20) and RBIs (58).
