Danielle McEwan

STONY POINT, N.Y. > Bowling

McEwan, a sophomore at Fairleigh Dickinson, had the highest average through 18 qualifiers (209.3) and won two final matches to claim the women's title at the Collegiate Masters Tournament. Recently named to Junior Team USA, McEwan also was the Most Outstanding Player at April's NCAA championships while leading the Knights to the title.

Steve Geffrard

BOCA RATON, FLA. > Boxing

Geffrard, a freshman at Nova Southeastern, won four bouts, including a 13--4 quarterfinal victory over the defending titlist, to take the heavyweight division at the USA Boxing National Championships. In May he won the same class at the National Golden Gloves. Geffrard will box for the U.S. at a dual meet against Italy in September.

Jennifer Bonilla

RESEDA, CALIF. > Volleyball

Jennifer, a 2010 graduate of Marymount High who will attend Illinois, led the junior national team in digs per match (10.0) to help the U.S. go 5--0 at the NORCECA women's junior continental championship in Tijuana, Mexico. A week before, she led Sports Shack 18-Asics to a title at the USA Volleyball junior nationals.

Domenico Geminiani

BRADENTON, FLA. > Golf

Domenico, a 14-year-old attending Vision Quest Golf Academy, shot 202 to win the Italian junior championship by 13 strokes, the third year in a row he has won the event. In June he won the AJGA Florida Junior by four (eight under); in May at the BMW Italian Open, Domenico became the youngest player to compete on the European tour.

Elizabeth Williams

VIRGINIA BEACH > Basketball

Elizabeth, a senior center at Princess Anne High, helped the U.S. to an 8--0 record at the FIBA U17 World Championship in Toulouse, France, averaging a team-high 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds and finishing third in the tournament in blocked shots (2.0). Elizabeth was the Virginia Group AAA player of the year and a Parade All-America as a junior.

Greg White

CENTERVILLE, OHIO > Basketball

White, a sophomore at Ohio Wesleyan, had 16 points and 10 rebounds to help the U.S. beat Lithuania 78--73 and win the inaugural U21 World Deaf Basketball Championships, held in Lublin, Poland. Over eight games he led the U.S. in points (15.1), steals (3.7), rebounds (7.5) and blocks (1.2) and was named to the all-tournament team.
