A study based on previous Ryder Cup competitions estimates that the economic impact of this week's event at Celtic Manor in Wales could reach $177 million. Not bad considering that Wales is a country of roughly three million people. Despite the tiny population, that same study projects that as many as 240,000 people may attend the matches over the course of the week. Here's how they break out.
