Who's Hot Who's Not

Who's Hot

BOLDIN THE BEAUTIFUL

Anquan Boldin shredded Cleveland CB Eric Wright on Sunday. His eight receptions for 142 yards, including three TDs, made Boldin (right) the fastest WR to 600 catches (he did it in 98 games—four quicker than Marvin Harrison) and helped the Ravens to a 24--17 win.

PEYTONS' PLACE

Even in a loss Browns RB Peyton Hillis put himself in the hunt for Peyton of the year. Hillis (right) ripped off 144 yards and a TD, the first allowed by Baltimore in '10. (Indy's Peyton tossed for 325 yards and three TDs against Denver.)

DAY OF HIS LIFE

Namely, Sunday, when Jim Furyk won the Tour Championship ($1.35 million) and the FedEx Cup payoff ($10 million). "Coming up 18 I assumed I was playing for the FedEx Cup," said Furyk (right), "but I wasn't 100-percent sure."

Who's Not

FOLDIN' AT LIVERPOOL?

The Reds, struggling financially two years after a top two finish, opted not to spend in '10 and are paying for it. They've won once in six EPL games (putting them in relegation territory) and on Sept. 22 lost a Carling Cup clash with fourth-division Northampton.

SECOND PLACE

If you ain't first, you're nowhere. Through Sunday none of the six MLB teams chasing first place had a winning record in its last 10 games; five (the A's, Braves, Cardinals, White Sox and Yankees) had losing streaks of at least three games.

GIANT STRIFE

First, DB Antrel Rolle goes on the radio and calls out his coaching staff for being too controlling. Then the G-Men are flagged for six personal fouls in a 29--10 home loss to the Titans. Is what we have here a failure to communicate?
