Hat Check Steelers tight end Matt Spaeth (89) inadvertently doffed the helmet of Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs on Sunday in Pittsburgh. Suggs returned the favor with a sack in Baltimore's 17--14 victory, the Steelers' first defeat of the season.

Camera Club During a four-ball match at the Ryder Cup last Saturday, Tiger Woods scuffed a chip shot so badly that the ball flew straight at the lens of a British newspaper photographer. Woods, who was attempting his third shot on the par-5 18th hole at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales, and his partner, Steve Stricker, beat Europe's Ian Poulter and Ross Fisher, 2-up. The U.S. relinquished the Cup 14½--13½ (page 36).

Cotton Picking Longhorns cornerback Aaron Williams nearly intercepted a pass intended for Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles (85) during the first half of their game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas last Saturday. The throw fell incomplete, and Texas fell 28--20 to the No. 8 Sooners, dropping out of the Top 25 for the first time in 10 years.
