Vikings Vs. Jets

If the Jets scout the Vikings right, they'll see in Week 3 a perfect example of how Minnesota wants to play. In a 24--10 victory over Detroit on Sept. 26 the Vikings ran for 183 yards (Adrian Peterson had 160 of those) and had 185 net passing yards. Games like that put less pressure on Brett Favre to pull the offense out of the fire. This game will be billed as Favre's return to the Meadowlands, where he spent an uneasy season in 2008, but he probably won't be the difference-maker if newly run-conscious coach Brad Childress has his way. The Vikings are coming off their bye, but the Jets have been a steamroller on both sides of the ball. Jets 23, Vikings 16
