PETER KING'S Things I Think I Think

SI's fearless NFL expert opines on all the latest news, buzz and inside information. This is just a taste of what you'll get online.

1 I think you can close up shop on the Comeback Player of the Year voting because Vikings middle linebacker E.J. Henderson, still just 10 months clear of one of the worst broken legs in the game since Joe Theismann's in 1985, continues to play at a Pro Bowl level. Henderson (below) had nine tackles and two interceptions in Minnesota's 24--21 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

2 Speaking of the Vikings, I think I like coach Brad Childress's honesty. I like how he's had enough of the Brett Favre as John Wayne show. Asked about Favre's toughness after the Vikings' win, Childress said, "We're paying him enough every game. He's going to get hit."

3 I think I like Tom Coughlin's combination of Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs in the backfield for the Giants. The rushing duo had 28 carries for 168 yards and two touchdowns in a 28--20 win over the Lions. Moral of this story: Don't worry about how often you get it, just dominate when you do.
