Chance Anthony
HARNED, KY. > Football
Chance, a senior receiver and outside linebacker who was born without a right forearm and hand, caught two touchdown passes (23 and 18 yards), the first of his career, to help Breckinridge County High win its homecoming game against Adair County High. A three-year starter, he is the Fighting Tigers' leading receiver with 14 catches for 216 yards.
Tiffany Yovino
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. > Soccer
Yovino, a senior midfielder at Hofstra, was named Colonial Athletic Association player of the year. She scored in each of the last eight regular-season games, including the tying goal in the 84th minute and the game-winner in a second overtime against Northeastern. Her scoring helped fuel Hofstra's 18-game winning streak, the nation's longest this season.
Anthony Paolucci
RANCHO SANTA FE, CALIF. > Golf
Anthony, a senior at La Jolla Country Day, was named the boys' Rolex Junior player of the year after winning two majors: the Rolex Tournament of Champions (he was the only player to finish under par) and the Thunderbird International Junior. He was on the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup championship team and is a four-time Rolex Junior All-America.
Aubree Worden
SCOTTSBLUFF, NEB. > Cross-country
Aubree, a senior at Scottsbluff High, set a state meet record in the 4K (14:23) in winning her third straight Class B title and her second all-class title. In the spring she defended her all-state title in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters and was named Gatorade Nebraska runner of the year in both cross-country and track and field.
Deante Steele
WOODBRIDGE, VA. > Football
A senior cornerback--return specialist at Shepherd, Steele set an NCAA Division II record for career kick-return touchdowns with his 11th, a punt he returned 52 yards against West Liberty. His TD helped the Rams erase a 22-point deficit in the second half to remain unbeaten for the season. Steele is a two-time All-America.
Jacie Scheer
CHENEY, KANS. > Golf
Jacie, a senior at Cheney High, shot a 76 on her home course of Cherry Oaks to win the 4A state championship by three strokes and set a women's course record. A three-sport varsity athlete and homecoming queen, she was a member of the Cardinals' undefeated championship basketball team and started at shortstop for the softball team.
