With Ohio State needing a QB to play for the suspended Terrelle Pryor, early-enrolled freshman Braxton Miller made his case in last Saturday's spring game by leading two TD drives. His ability to run and pass would allow the Buckeyes to utilize an offense similar to Pryor's and ease the transition once he returns in game six. . . . Florida corner Janoris Jenkins was cited for marijuana possession on Saturday, his second such charge in three months. How Will Muschamp punishes Jenkins will show if the new coach is serious about discipline. . . . Jonathan Gray, the top-ranked running back recruit in Texas for 2012, committed to the Longhorns last week. With highly touted back Malcolm Brown, an '11 signee, already in the fold, Texas will be loaded at a position that had been recently lacking.
