DaJuan Coleman
DEWITT, N.Y. > Basketball
DaJuan, a 6'9", 280-pound junior center at Jamesville-DeWitt High, was tournament MVP for the second straight year after helping the Red Rams to their fourth consecutive Class A state title. He led the team with 22.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game this season and was named the Central New York player of the year for the second straight year.
Morgann LeLeux
NEW IBERIA, LA. > Track and Field
Morgann, a senior at Catholic High, set a U.S. high school record in girls' pole vault by clearing 14'2¾" at the Class 3A regional meet in Lafayette, La. Three days later she led the Panthers to their first gymnastics state title with a winning score of 9.9 in the floor exercise. Morgann holds 10 pole vault state titles and will compete next year at the University of Georgia.
Chrys Jones
HARRODSBURG, KY. > Track and Field
Jones, a senior at Centre College (Ky.), won the triple jump (46'6 2/3") at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship meet in Memphis to help the Colonels clinch their first team conference title. In March, Jones won his second straight D-III indoor triple jump championship for his fourth title overall in indoor and outdoor track.
Cheryl Murphy
JAMAICA, N.Y. > Karate
Murphy, 32, won gold at the USA Open karate championships in Las Vegas in the kumite (sparring) category in both the 150-pounds-and-under and open weight divisions and led the women's senior national team to team gold. A seven-time national champion, Murphy was on the first U.S. team to medal in kumite at the world championships, last October in Belgrade.

SOUTHEAST AND CENTRAL MAINE > Swimming
The Maine Masters Swim Club relay team of (clockwise, from top left) Hazzard (79, Brunswick), Kerr (76, Kents Hill), Reeve (79, Ellsworth) and Wendel (75, originally from Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, now living in Hudson, Fla.), established New England records in the 75-and-over age group while sweeping all five relays (200-yard medley, 200 free, 400 medley, 400 free and 800 free) for the Blue Lobsters at the New England SCY Championships at Harvard University.
