NOT: SKINS SMOKED

Washington clinched its fourth straight non-winning season with a 34--19 loss to the Jets on Sunday, the same day they learned that they could lose TE Fred Davis and OT Trent Williams for the rest of the year due to positive marijuana tests.

HOT: NHL GONE WILD

Minnesota dropped the Ducks Sunday for its fourth straight win, grabbing the NHL's best record (17-7-3). Meanwhile, goalie Josh Harding's 2.05 GAA is sixth-best in the league—remarkable considering he missed 2010--11 with a torn MCL and ACL.

NOT: OHHH, 'BOY ...

Perhaps the heat got to Dallas coach Jason Garrett (below), who—whoops!—iced his own kicker in Arizona on Sunday. After his last-second TO negated Dan Bailey's 49-yard game-winner, a follow-up fell short, and the Cardinals won in OT.

HOT: BEWARE OF BADGERS

In the Big Ten title game Wisconsin avenged a loss to Michigan State (with help from Montee Ball, below, and the refs); and in the SEC finale, LSU's Honey Badger (CB Tyrann Mathieu) earned MVP with four returns for 119 yards and a TD to jolt Georgia.

NOT: LITTLE GIANTS

The G-men put a scare in undefeated Green Bay but ultimately—inevitably?—fell 38--35 (their fourth straight loss) as Aaron Rodgers shredded N.Y.'s secondary when it mattered. Going back to 2009, the Giants are just 9--14 after Halloween.
