DEAL-MAKERS

With the NHL trade deadline coming up on Feb. 27, here's a rundown of the league's most coveted available players.

RICK NASH, RW

Blue Jackets

There's not a team in the league that doesn't want him. The offensively challenged Kings and Rangers are both interested. But teams that think they can make the playoffs now will be reluctant to deal assets, so Columbus might get more value for Nash if it trades him at the draft.

JACK JOHNSON, D

Kings

The talented young defenseman, who's signed with Los Angeles through 2017--18, has constantly improved, and he can handle big minutes. If the Kings and the Blue Jackets can get together and make it work, Johnson could be part of a package deal for Nash.

BOBBY RYAN, LW

Ducks

He's one of the NHL's most skilled U.S.--born players. He's hobbled with a minor leg injury, but many teams could use his scoring talent, including the Maple Leafs. Toronto G.M. Brian Burke drafted Ryan in Anaheim in 2005. The Flyers might also be interested in the Cherry Hill, N.J., native.
