INDY FLICK Paul George and the Pacers found the driving smoother than expected for much of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday in Miami. Indiana led by as many as six in the second half before being swallowed up by LeBron James (6) and his vast shadow down the stretch in the Heat's 95--86 victory.

BLUES HEAVEN Manchester City players celebrated Pablo Zabaleta's opening goal in their Survival Sunday match with Queens Park Rangers at Etihad Stadium. After falling behind 2--1 to 10-man, relegation-battling QPR, the Blues scored two stunning goals in stoppage time to win 3--2 and pip archrival Manchester United for the EPL title on goal difference. It was City's first top-flight title in 44 years and one of the most remarkable finishes ever to a European soccer season.
