"I have the most confidence in my three-wood. If a tournament was on the line, that's the club I would hit because I can shape it both ways and change heights easily."

TECH TALK
SHORT ANSWER
Scor Golf has rethought the short game and remade a set of clubs
The brains behind Scor Golf realized that while everyone considers the area within 150 yards from the pin to be the scoring zone, a set of clubs is usually designed from the driver down. Scor flipped the script with a collection of scoring irons that have 21 different lofts (from 41° to 61°), each designed to maximize performance. The clubs are custom made and custom fit and come with one of nine proprietary shafts that enhance feel. The idea is that golfers will get five or six of the clubs, working from the lob wedge up, and then fill in with an assortment of long irons, hybrids, fairway woods and a driver. This way the scoring clubs are a matched set that is consistent in feel, performance and characteristics.
The muscle back moves the center of mass progressively higher for a more penetrating ball flight and better distance control.
The back end of the sole has a lower bounce, allowing players to hit from tight lies.
The variable-bounce sole provides two angles of contact with the ground, which makes the club more versatile.
The leading quarter inch has high bounce angle, which keeps the club from digging on soft surfaces such as sand or deep rough.
