WICKET PISSAH The legs of Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw framed this shot of a first-inning grounder that was scooped by Adrian Gonzalez last Saturday. Earlier in the day Gonzalez had been sent to Los Angeles in an unprecedented trade with Boston (page 25); on the second pitch he saw, the former Sawx hit a three-run homer in the Dodgers' 8--2 win over the Marlins.

RAMPLITUDE Aaron Fotheringham went wheels up during a practice run last Friday for MegaRamp 2012, a skateboarding and BMX showcase held in Rio. The 20-year-old Fotheringham, who was born with spina bifida, is the first person in a wheelchair to pull off a double backflip.
