Chris Ivory: Heaven Sent
For the second straight week Ivory more than adequately filled the void created in the Saints' backfield when Darren Sproles suffered a broken hand, rushing for 72 yards on seven carries. His violent, between-the-tackles style is exactly what New Orleans has been missing, and his nose for the end zone and desire to get there make him a great pickup. What's baffling is that the 6-foot, 222-pound Ivory was a healthy scratch through the first seven games, when the Saints went 2--5.

Carson Palmer gains 300-plus yards in consecutive games for the first time since September 2007. | Grab him. Without Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson he's going to have to throw often. |
Eli Manning has thrown 99 passes over three games without a touchdown. | Don't panic. You have to bench him for the bye, so make it a two-week break and see if he improves. |
Cecil Shorts surpasses 100 yards receiving in two of last three games and scores more than 15 PPR points for a third time in the last four. | Available in more than 95% of all leagues, he's become a reliable target for the Jaguars. He's worth picking up now and will enter 2013 as a sleeper. |
