"I can launch this driver a little bit better, hit it a little bit longer and get a little more ball speed with the same accuracy."

CALLAWAY'S UPDATED DRIVER ADJUSTS FOR GOLFERS OF ALL LEVELS

Extensively tested by Phil Mickelson and newly signed Ryo Ishikawa, the RAZR Fit Xtreme driver has a carbon-fiber crown that is thinner than its predecessor, movable weights to create a draw or fade bias and a redesigned face that the company says increases ball speed with decreased spin. An adjustable hosel allows the face angle to be set to an open, closed or neutral position. Lower-lofted versions (8.5°, 9.5° and 10.5°) feature a shot-shaping 440cc head, while higher-lofted models (11.5° and 13.5°) have a more-forgiving 460cc head.

Moving the 13-gram weight to the toe encourages a fade; in the heel the weight promotes a draw.
