Jaws of Victory Elite wrestlers don't just pin their opponents; they feed them to an angry bear. Arizona State's Jake Meredith (in maroon) beat Cal Poly's J.T. Goodwin in the 197-pound division at the Pac-12 championships in Tempe, helping the Sun Devils to a third-place finish. You'd think Cal's Golden Bears would dominate on that mat—it was borrowed from a local high school—but the title was won by the Beavers of Oregon State.
