MY BAG: Keegan Bradley

"The big four-iron is really a three-iron. It's chunkier, almost like a hybrid, and gives me more margin for error."

BOBBY GRACE'S NYC TOUR ASS KICKER HAS A REPOSITIONED SHAFT AND A RADIAL FACE

Bobby Grace burst on the scene some 20 years ago as a small, independent puttermaker. You'll recall that Nick Price used a Bobby Grace Fat Lady Swings mallet to capture multiple majors in the early 1990s. Grace's latest baby, the NYC Tour Ass Kicker, has a back-entry center shaft design that shifts the club's center of gravity more toward the back than the heel-shafted NYC Tour. Putts feel a bit softer and, according to Grace, roll 10% farther. The aluminum-headed Ass Kicker has a radial-shaped face—its farthest protruding groove is higher than the equator of the ball—to get putts rolling with topspin. In addition, the polymer face insert is livelier (more rebound) in the heel and toe, so off-center strikes go about as far as centered hits.
