Crimson And Over Junior safety Vinnie Sunseri was in the clover after this plunge to complete an 86-yard pick-six as time ran out in the first half of Alabama's spring game last Saturday. In the end, though, Sunseri's Crimson squad lost 17--14 to the heavily favored White team (led by running back T.J. Yeldon) in the annual A-Day showdown, which was played this year before a crowd of 78,315 in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Cliff Banger Rafael Nadal of Spain (foreground) wasn't bluffing as he prepared to smash a return against Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber during their third-round match in the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters tournament in Monaco. Nadal, who went on to win 6--2, 6--4, would face a steeper challenge in the final, losing on Sunday to Novak Djokovic 6--2, 7--6 (1). The defeat ended Nadal's eight-year run as Rolex Masters champion.

Bucket? Duck it! Brewers centerfielder Carlos Gómez (left) had a splashy line in Milwaukee's 4--3 home victory over the Giants on April 17, going 3 for 4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored. And, while he may not have homered in the game, he went deep here to dodge a celebratory dousing from teammate Ryan Braun. Over his last 23 at bats through Sunday, Go-Go was batting .522 for the streaking Brewers, who had won seven straight.
