Bryce Harper did not put his best foot forward on Twitter last weekend. The Nationals outfielder missed the first two games of a series against the Cubs because of an infected ingrown toenail on his left foot—and tweeted a picture of his grossly mangled big toe and the bloody shard of nail that doctors removed from it. Harper was back in the Nationals' lineup on Sunday, but there are plenty more bizarre sports injuries at SI.com/extramustard
